Kendrick Lamar’s has dropped his highly anticipated double-album Mr Morale & The Big Steppers.
The artist shared the information regarding his new album in a twitter post which was later followed by the lead single of the project titled “The Heart Part 5”.
In 2017 Kendrick Lamar dropped DAMN album the first only rap album that got him a Pulitzer Prize with the Heart Part 5 being the first official single in 2018.
The new album Mr Morale & The Big Stepper officially becomes his 5th studio album collection with 18 tracks share into two different album titled Mr Morale & The Big Stepper.
In the album we see features from guest artists including Ghost face Killah, Gibbons of Portishead, Summer Walker, Blxst and Beth, and Wu-Tang Clan luminary Ghostface Killah.
In the lyrics, Kendrick Lamar talks about cancel culture on “N95” which lyrics like “Wtf is cancel culture I say what I want” while briefly mentioning his fiancée Whitney Alford on “Worldwide Steppers.” the song “Die Hard” gives a nostalgic feel to songs of ’80s pop.
The cover art for the album which has Kendrick crowned with thorns while holding a toddler and Alford is seated on a bed cradling an infant. They were all uniformly dressed in white coloured clothing and Kendrick was wearing khaki pants with a gun tucked into his waistband.
